Modifications for the newest snapshots of "Minecraft". A list of modifications I keep for those who don't wanna get into getting into one of the modifications that are really for "Optifine" or things that are thought to be also for the newer snapshots. I promise I will make good simple modifications for "Minecraft" updated to the latest newer snapshots. I can also make other modifications from other people to support the latest newer snapshot. I think of Mojang releasing a new later snapshot that overwrites the features that the modifications support like changing the folder names with me not knowing it or having not enough time to let you see what modifications support the latest newer snapshot, so I will be sure to update it as early as I can.

But if I don't feel like updating the these stuff, I can leave it as "G". You can still download the stuff tagged as "G".

I don't usually say that one of the stuff is updated, but you can look by the date from what you remembered!

Unfortunately, I am discontinuing this list because I feel better just posting these on "Planet Minecraft". I don't really have much time updating the stuff so that's why I am moving to "Planet Minecraft".

1. Craft Emeralds:

When meeting a wandering trader, it wants emeralds. But you don't have any villagers around you or even don't have any in your area or base or home. Getting villagers by curing zombie villagers would cost golden apples and potions which will require you to get blaze powder which are obtainable by killing blazes which are in "The Nether" dimension. But what if you are locked on peaceful difficulty and a wanderer comes in?

This data pack fixes that problem with a recipe that uses the use of flint and steel and wheat seeds to make an emerald.

2. Deepshade:

Deepshade is a material that can be used for making bedrock. But first, you must find this as concrete and smoke it. It will take up a lava bucket to turn it into a deepshade ingot. It will take up 5 of the ingots and either bone blocks or white concrete to make bedrock.

3. Flint Armor:

A better use for flint! Introducing to flint armor, a replacement of chainmail armor. A way to make armor out of flint. Just get flint and make armor out of it!

4. Lightning:

A remastered version of the lightning stone and the light from a game called "Adrift" by RugbugRedfern. Replaces the creeper spawning with the lightning stone spawns. You can craft lights by combining a lightning stone with a regular stone on a smithing table.

5. Lightning Pickaxe:

I have remastered the lightning pickaxe from the game "Adrift" by RugbugRedfern as well! It replaces the netherite pickaxe. The lightning pickaxe can be crafted with 4 lightning stones surrounding a diamond pickaxe in a crafting table.

6. NE's Automatic Crossbows:

I have made a port for the 1.17 snapshot for this data pack. "NE's Automatic Crossbows" is a data pack that allows you to hold down right-click to spam arrows like a machine gun.

Update:

Updated the main function to 21w19a! I have not tested it.

7. Better Bonus:

I had enough with the different varieties of output of the bonus chest like you get logs and planks that don't match with what you would normally get around you. So I made it better by making it only give you one certain variety of loot you get from it. Now you can get the same logs and planks from the exact saplings you only get from the bonus chest, iron set of tools, some armor and food, a set of the exact materials you need to make a starter house, and a crossbow and arrows from it, some blocks also.

8. Realistic Recipes:

Looking at the recipe for that certain item, and wondering if that can be possible in real life. This fixes it by making the recipes feel realistic. Plus I thought that it can also be a challenge as well.

Update:

Removed the copper block recipe because of the new update. Changed the purpur block and sandstone and red sandstone recipes. Added a way to make sticks out of logs and wood. Added a way to make saplings out of leaves. Added a way to get sticks from saplings.

9. Iron Pig:

The iron pig mob replaces the normal pig. It will drop raw iron instead of raw porkchop.

Update:

Now goes good with the raw materials!

10. Invisibility Data Pack:

A one of a kind data pack that makes you invisible! Makes every player invisible!

11. Killer Name:

Kill mobs instantly by naming it "dead".

12. Upgraded Post:

Makes the taiga lamp posts upgraded, making it made out of harder blocks, and making it better.

13. Broom:

Sweep away oxidation with the broom, replacing the wooden axe. Since you can now clear away oxidation with axes, I made the wooden one a broom.

14. Locked:

Makes your modes locked on gamemode = survival, and difficulty = normal.

15. gunpowder block:

Replaces the lapis ore to a ore that drops gunpowder. Do you want to get gunpowder without killing creepers, because those are very annoying and difficult to kill without it exploding, or if you are in peaceful difficulty? This addon will clear away that problem with a replacement of a block to an ore that drops 3-4 gunpowder.

Update:

Now fits with the different ore textures and now drops 3 to 4 gunpowder instead!

16. Instant Diamond House Data Pack:

Instant Diamond House! Making a house has never been easier!

I bring to you, the instant diamond house data pack! A port of the "Instant Diamond Mod" for a legacy version of Minecraft PE for Block Launcher to the latest newer snapshot. Instead of using a stick on a oak plank, since even using a stick on top of the oak plank doesn't work either, you sneak with a stick on an oak plank and it will make a diamond house. It doesn't take the stick either.

17. 1000 TNT:

Fill in lots of tnt in the spot and see what happens. Yes, the most OP griefing modification I have ever experienced. Just type in "function t_tnt:1000tnt" as a command, and you have destruction.

18. FarmDiamondAddon:

FARM DIAMOND ADDON 1.17+ PORT NOW!!!

Grow diamonds with this addon by crushing diamonds into seeds, 1 diamond = 4 seeds.

Time to watch those grow into diamond ore. A part of the material farming.

19. Flint Tools:

Craft tools with flint with this addon! Get your flint and make tools out of it. Replaces the stone tools.

20. Auto Torch:

While I was looking at a mod, it was all about torches automatically being placed with a config you can use. I just made it much better so instead of torches being placed automatically even though you never meant to do that, it takes the torches out with your off-hand and places it in your location that is dark (0-2). I also don't know the name of the mod all about placing the torches automatically that I found to make this modification.

21. Walled Base of Copper:

I could do this just with a data pack, but since the Mojang team didn't add the "generate" command, I had to do this as a map. Here, you start on top of a tree in a walled base made of copper. There are traps in this place, but those are obviously avoidable, if you look closely.

22. New Gravel:

This makes gravel drop only itself, and makes it so that gravel can be smelted for flint.

23. Deadly Darkness:

Inspired by the "Withering Darkness" data pack, I decided to make my own version, but instead of light levels of 5 or lower, it is 0. This data pack kills everything when it is darkness level of 0. Basically, I made it so that complete darkness would kill you, taking the idea from myself when I thought that I would not be able to see things clearly in complete darkness.

24. Nether Tree:

This adds just an easy way to get glowstone without the nether and it looks maybe really nice!

Instead of soulsand, I used soul soil. I think I may have mixed the coordinates of what I thought would look more like in the picture of the original, but it doesn't matter when it looks good.

25. Realistic Terrain:

This only changes the block models and not the actual terrain itself. I only did the regular sand and will be planning to do more.

26. Frost Warriors:

The frost warriors are strays wearing frost-viking-like gear while holding a diamond axe and a shield while riding on a goat. This data pack was because that goats were added in the new snapshot.

These will be spawned in front of igloos, and phantoms can be transformed into these when named as "frost".

Sadly though, the I didn't see the warrior spawn with the igloo or the igloo generate with the bottom parts. Maybe that was part of how the structure generates.

27. Minecraft Plus:

The real version of Minecraft Plus!

I just made a resource pack that had all the screens in the MC Plus site. I worked with a couple of the screens, but I will add more later on. I also did some other stuff as well, Like replacing the husk with Mobbo. The pack logo is from the 21w13a snapshot client jar: "assets/minecraft/textures/gui/presets/isles.png".

28. Glowstone for Glowstone:

Tired of it taking forever to get enough glowstone dust to make a glowstone piece now the wait is over with glowstone for glowstone.

Glowstone for glowstone makes glowstone drop glowstone instead of glowstone dust.

A port of this to the latest / newer snapshot.

29. Starter Dragon:

A dragon upon spawn! What a thing.

It makes an ender dragon spawn above you when you load the world.

I thought that the load function tag was all about when the world gets created.

30. Minecraft : Easy Spawner [21w13a+]:

Get a spawner easily. Just do the recipe of easy enough items.

31. CoalBrick:

Make bricks out of coal!

Coal bricks can be used for making walls and stairs and slabs. It can also be used for house design as well.

The coal bricks replace the deepslate tiles, but I didn't do the cracked version, so I leave it to you to make the cracked version whatever you want.

32. The Sword is a Weapon:

Swords now deal 500 damage and are invincible!

Right now this did not modify the sword weapons. Maybe it is a bug.

33. Katana 3D Model/Files Renewed:

Make a stronger weapon without diamonds!

Although it is repaired with diamonds, I don't care about that. I just made the texture pack into a addon so it replaces the recipes as well.

34. Armor Lite:

Leather, iron, gold, and diamond now look different.

35. Creeper Drop Obsidian:

Just replaces the creeper loot table to drop 1 obsidian when the killer was holding a flint and steel.

36. Zombie Sword:

A sword that you can't get from any other way.

Unfortunately it only affects the same entity, so it doesn't happen to only select entities with the exact nbt.

37. Mad Butcher:

From my modification for Minecraft 1.11.1, before I thought that it can effect the loot tables if it were a resource pack. But I now know that the loot tables can be changed by changing those in the client jar file.

Right now, I am a fan of the latest / newer snapshots, and I wanted to port this to the latest / newer snapshot.

38. Bears:

Makes ravagers into bears. It also replaces the chicken jockey spawns for spawning the bear as well.

39. Craft Iron:

You can craft raw iron with flint and sugar. Just surround a flint with sugar in a crafting table to get 1 raw iron.

40. Lush Spider:

Lush spiders replace cave spiders, and drop items that you can get from the lush caves biome.

Spiders that are in the lush caves are turned into lush spiders. Lush spiders that are outside of the lush caves are turned back into spiders.

41. Glass Cow:

A cow that drops glass upon death.

42. Old Stonecutter:

Ported the pack format, plus, added the old recipe as well.

43. 3D Diamond:

Makes the diamond model 3D.

44. Apple Trees:

Makes spruce leaves drop apples commonly but can not be effected by fortune. It also makes it so that you can only get the sapling by crafting it with the leaves itself.

I only followed what it looks like it only effected to, and I added the recipe for the sapling too.

45. Super Emerald:

Adds a new rich person thing into the game. Introducing, the Super Emerald! The Super Emerald is a Emerald coated with Diamonds. Super Emeralds are actually gems that are used for the beacon, replacing the beacon base blocks to Super Emerald Block, and the payment items to Super Emeralds.

Sadly though, I did not do anything else, like giving a recipe for turning Super Emerald Blocks back into Super Emeralds.

46. Blaze Ore:

Blaze Ore drops blaze rods when mined. Replaces the Nether Gold Ore.

47. Xray:

I got the idea of a block that lets you see through the connected blocks.

This is just because of how there's the issue where the textures connected to the blocks disappears. That is annoying because now the textures that are on the sides that the block is connected to are now gone.

48. Magical Brutes:

Just a simple modification to make Piglin Brutes turn the lave under them into gold blocks.

49. More Health and Less Fire:

Makes players have 40 health instead of 20 and a fire resistance of 50 instead of nothing.

For some reason the tick function tag did not execute the health function. Maybe it was just to me.

50. ZoMbEh Skeletons:

Makes skeletons with bows change to iron swords instead.

I have ported this just because I feel like it, and I didn't give credit because he sweared in one of the screenshots. I hate cursing.

51. Dark Mode:

Where it's always dark and locked to hard difficulty.

I even made it lock your gamemode to adventure.

It would be better if I added "mid" to before "night" in the time setting, that would be more like the original screenshot.

52. 3D Diamond Ores:

Makes the Dimaond Ores look 3D just like what I did to the Diamond item before.

53. Glass Deserts:

Turns all the Sand in the deserts to Glass.

54. Bigger Caves:

A very fun modification where I tried to make caves 10 times bigger.

It just looks like free death or the blocks or chunks were being eaten by a glitch or bug or virus.

55. Diamond Wearing Skeleton:

Makes regular skeletons always wear full diamond armor when it doesn't wear it.

56. Nether Warrior Zombie:

Makes regular zombies always have a netherite sword and wear netherite armor.

Update:

57. Custom End:

I just customized the End Dimension. So now there's layers of what I have listed from top layer to bottom layer.

10* end stone,

I also made it generate water as well.

58. Kung-Fu Zombies:

Makes regular Zombies do Kung-Fu! They don't actually do Kung-Fu, but I did change the loot table.

59. Diamond Ingots:

Make Diamond gear a different way! Diamond Ingots are crafted with 4 Diamonds and 2 Iron Ingots! Combine Iron gear and a Diamond Ingot in a Smithing to make Diamond gear!

60. Zombies' Pumpkins:

Just makes regular zombies always have a pumpkin on their head.

61. Oretastic Look:

I made the blocks and items the same textures as what I would prefer from the "Oretastic! Version 1.0.6 For minecraft 1.1.0!" mod for version 1.1.

It makes it look like if the "Caves and Cliffs" update was released in an older time.

62. easy mining:

Makes ores that drop the raw material drop between 3 to 4 of that.

I just made the original drop be more realistic because it was too much.

Update:

Every ore that drops the raw material now gets an additional 3 materials and the ones that drop always 1 drops 3 to 4 instead!

63.

Replaces the Evoker to the King Illager! It will summon Pillagers instead of the annoying Vexes, and will summon a row of vindicators on the right and left instead of the Evoker Fangs. The King Illager will drop the Totem of Undying and 3 to 9 Emeralds and 0 to 1 of a Iron Sword.

64. Customized Zombified Piglin:

I just customized the data of the Zombified Piglin just for fun!

65. Emerald Crafting Table:

Ported the texture pack to the latest snapshot, but I changed the recipe as well.

The screenshot is from alternative - 2.

66. Better Farms:

Makes the farms in the villages better and the farmers a bit better. But I only made the farms better to the plains village.

I did make the farming villagers have a 25% chance of having the custom trade set I made, but I guess it didn't happen after all the farmers I got.

The screenshot you see is actually before the modification was changed, while I tried to make it better.

67. Changed Drowned:

I just made the Drowned mob have a Totem of Undying on its main-hand and off-hand and an Elytra on its back. I even made it able to drop Diamonds instead of Rotten Flesh, it is just not common though, I even changed the loot table a bit, or more.

68. DeathSpiders Addon 21w15a+ (NO MODS):

Ported the mod to an addon for java edition, but I didn't make the spiders mutant, but at least I made it better.

69. Rune Armor:

Replaces Diamond armor to Rune armor! Wearing one piece of rune armor would give 1 level of absorption, and if wearing full would have the effect hidden. As that you see in the 2nd screenshot, the first one that was going to showcase you armor is the skeleton, because of the number [55] of the list.

You get this armor by crafting it with Runes. Getting runes will be crafted as the recipe shown in the first screenshot, or from piglin bartering, or by killing piglin brutes. I might gonna make the Warden mob 100% drop a rune when the mob gets added into a later snapshot.

Update:

Fixed netherite armor!

70. Stronger Arrows data pack:

Data Pack for Minecraft Java edition

Increases the damage arrows deal to 8

(that's about it, there's nothing more to it)

71. Starter Only Sword:

Makes you have a sword that you cannot craft but get it by starting your story.

Update:

Fixed alternative 2! (for real)

72. Basalt Armored Piglin:

Makes the piglin brute into a basalt armored piglin. And the helmet is not basalt, it's netherite!

73. Blaza Blaze:

I made this because of the youtuber "Blaza", if the last letter was an [e], it would be "Blaze". So I had to do this addon.

74. Terraforming Oak:

Just a little modification just for fun! replaces the regular oak tree generation features to: [the trunk being dirt, the leaves being grass blocks, the bottom part being oak wood]!

75. Armor Games Shield:

Replaces the Mojang sign for the shield to the "Armor Games" shield picture.

76. Original Granite:

I thought this was the original way of how granite was going to look like if it was added way back like in Mar 30th, 2012. It also looks a lot like bedrock.

77. Craft Bedrock:

Since granite with the "Original Granite" modification looks a lot like bedrock, I made this modification where you can compress granite into bedrock.

So if you wanted to have a modification all about crafting bedrock but don't want the other stuff you to craft it or other to do with it, this is the modification for you!

78. Bedrock Solution:

Just in case if you want to get rid of bedrock, this is the modification for you. I recommend you using this mostly when you have a way to make bedrock or end portals.

Update:

"Alt_2" now works better!

79. AK-77:

Ported the model to the latest snapshot as the crossbow.

80. Cursed Katana:

When I looked at the data pack, I knew where I could make that better. It should require the "Katana 3D Model/Files Renewed" addon.

81. End Mace:

This weapon can be repaired with ender pearls!

82. Material Conversion Recipes:

Convert materials into the ones that you want!

Update:

Now goes good with the raw materials!

83. Gold Pyramid:

Foxy Max has did it!

I thought that Minecraft data packs are broken again, but luckily, I figured it out! I hope that my other modifications aren't broken.

This data pack allows a structure to appear near you when you spawn in your world for the first time. I recommend using it on a super-flat type world because I don't know how it would fit in a regular world.

84. Diamond Tree!!! (extremely) rare:

I had not found it, but at least you could try it!

85. Defensive NPC addon 21w18a+ v 1.4:

Replaces the husk mob to an assassin! This mob drops 1 diamond on death, if survived explosion, and holds a diamond sword! I tried to make it as what I could think of it and through the description as well.

86. Original Coal and Redstone Storage:

The same I did with the granite one (n. 76), I made it for the redstone block and the coal blocks as well!

87. Rage Creeper:

This data pack makes a creepers explosion 33 times bigger. I thought it said it was "33 times bigger" but it was actually "x33 more" so i'm guessing I had to make the explosion "36" instead of "3" to make it accurate.

What you saw in the screenshots were me with full netherite armor with the maximum blast protection enchantment value you can get normally versus the creeper explosion. But it was so big that I died.

88. Nitwit Trades:

I just made Super Emeralds a lot more useful. I made nitwits have trades!

These trades goes with the Super Emeralds Addon.

89. Pickaxe For ALL [21w19a+] not a mod:

Since there is the new "mineable" block tags, I was able to recreate the "Pickaxe For ALL" mod!

It makes it so that pickaxes can mine faster on any block axes and hoes and shovels mine on!

90. Overworld-like End:

The End dimension was like the "Sky Block" franchise or the "Sky Wars" game, so I made it like that.

91. Copper Ore Creeper:

When you can't enough copper, just let it come to you.

92. Ender Pearl Ore Addon - Someone-else first mod:

Ever think to yourself Ender Pearls Are to rare?
Ever get bored of enderman hunting?
Then this addon is for you!

93. MultiTools:

Pickaxe, Shovel, Axe and Hoe mining types in one item.

Update:

Fixed netherite multitool!

94. 4K Block Textures:

Living like a old classic gamer from the 90's!

95. Start TNT:

Start with 10 TNT when you first started in your world!

96. Looting Sword:

Gives your diamond sword Looting level 6 if your sword doesn't have any looting enchantment on!

97. Sword Effects:

Makes different swords have effects of its own!

Stone swords, for example, would give you resistance level 1!

98. Withering Hoe:

Makes mobs hit by netherite hoes have the wither effect for 5 seconds.

99. Blast-Only Iron

Makes iron ores only drop raw iron when it didn't survive an explosion.

100. Original Emeralds:

Makes the emerald blocks and item the original look in 2011!

101. Get Payed:

Makes you get paid when you slept, but there is a twist!

To get emeralds from sleeping, you must be in a village while you slept in a lime color of bed. Plus, you have to wait till the morning, and you will get 4 emeralds and you will hear a tiny ding and get 1 xp point!

102. Armored Drowned:

Gives the Drowned mobs their own armor, plus giving them a 20% chance of having a diamond sword!

103. Armored Wither Skeleton:

Makes wither skeletons wear a netherite helmet and chestplate!

104. Super Zombies:

Makes the regular zombies super! They will be faster than normal zombies and has 40 health!

105. Exp Bottle drop from Zombie:

Makes regular zombies drop 0 to 1 exp bottles over death!

106. [1.17+] Quick and Easy Obsidian:

A faster way of getting obsidian!

107. Netherite Apple:

Makes enchanted golden apples craftable!

108. Wither Immune:

Makes entities immune to withering when applying netherite!
